When the UCLA Strategic Communications team sent a video of their previous year’s Pride Month activation and told us to blow them away, we got right to work creating a design that would be impactful and effective, while accommodating the constraints of an active school campus. Fixtures could not impede public access to the building, or its rooms or offices, and the activation needed to run for multiple nights with little to no setup time. Despite a light June rain on the first day of the activation, everything came together stunningly.
